Why wall damp matters

Moisture can damage structures, cause mould, and increase heating costs. One of the main causes is rising damp, which occurs when ground water rises into porous materials due to the lack of a waterproof barrier.

🛠️ Installation recommendations

• Place the device between 30 cm and 1 m above the floor

• Keep at least 1.50 m away from any other electronic device

• Securely fix it to a load-bearing wall

• Remove waterproof coatings 10 cm above damp areas

• Ensure good ventilation (natural or mechanical)

• Adjust doors and add vents if necessary

• Restore with a lime plaster and an anti-salt additive
