Wall dampness is a common issue in buildings, often caused by rising damp. Groundwater seeps into porous materials (brick, stone, mortar), leading to mould, salt deposits, unpleasant odours, and loss of thermal insulation.

ATE MAX Black is a high-performance electromagnetic polarity inverter designed to dry damp walls without chemicals. With a 60-metre coverage diameter, it is perfectly suited to large areas and older buildings.

⚙️ How does ATE MAX work?

Walls naturally generate an electrical potential difference with the ground, which promotes moisture rising.
It emits a low-frequency electromagnetic field that reverses the polarity of water molecules contained in the walls.

➡️ Result: moisture is redirected and moves back down towards the foundations. The wall dries out gradually and naturally, without damaging the structure.

With correct installation and by following the recommendations, drying is generally visible within 18 to 24 months, depending on the type of building and the level of dampness.

🛠️ Installation guidelines

  • Mounting height: 30 cm to 1 m above floor level

  • Wall type: damp load-bearing wall (never on lining or drywall partition)

  • Distance: at least 1.5 m from any electronic device

  • Power: plugged in permanently (very low consumption)

  • Position: do not move the device after installation

💡 Tips for optimal results

  • Remove waterproof coatings (paints, film-forming renders) 10 cm above the damp area to let the wall breathe.

  • Ensure effective ventilation (MVHR/VMC, vents, properly adjusted doors and windows).

  • After drying: brush off surface salts and apply a lime-based render with an anti-salt additive.

  • Install drainage in case of lateral water infiltration.

  • Treatments for mould or damage caused by flooding
